Striped Wall decorIf you’re lucky enough to have a lot of space in your home and a lot of walls, you may have faced this issue we know here as the “ugly wall problem”. This is when you have a big, blank wall that is just screaming out for some attention. Wall décor can be a very personal thing, so we understand if you have hesitated to take the dive just yet. But with Spring just around the corner, it’s a great time to think about beautiful wall décor for your home. By adding some art to a large, empty wall, you can break up a space, add interest and draw the eye away from other areas of the room that maybe you don’t like as much! And with today’s products, you have so much flexibility to create an entire wall mural or just a few accent pieces with ease. Here are a few of our favorites:

Wall Stickers

My Wonderful Walls offers high-quality wall stickers in both kits and as individual pieces for kids’ rooms and grown up spaces. With a fabric wall decal from us, you can choose to add one large sticker to a blank wall or create an entire wall mural. For kids’ rooms, we suggest checking out our popular Forest Friends Wall Sticker Kit or Jungle Safari Wall Decals. These are great for both nurseries and kids’ rooms.

Wall Stencils

Cherry Blossom Decor

Stencils give you the flexibility to paint in any color scheme you like and with our self-adhesive stencils it is easy to use and re-use each one so you can get creative with your décor. A large wall may be the place to add a flower pattern like our new English Rose Stencil or Cherry Blossom Stencil Set. These stencils are super easy to paint, clean and repeat so you can fill a wall with flowery goodness in no time. You can also create a stunning focal wall with our pattern stencils. Try a fleur de lis pattern or herringbone pattern and up your room’s face value instantly.

Mirrors

Mirrored Wall Decor

In addition to adding some beautiful designs on your walls, you can do things like add an artsy mirror to break up a large, empty space. Mirrors are also great for making rooms appear larger than they are. Instead of opting for one big mirror, you can also add several mirrors in different shapes in sizes for a reflective wall.

Floating Shelves

Floating Shelves

If you’re looking to add character to a blank wall, go with a floating shelf and layer framed art prints and/or photos with accessories of colors different than your wall color. For larger walls, add more than one shelf at staggering heights for a trendy look that is sure to draw the eye in.

 Chevron Cool
